As you can see, there have been some big changes to TeresaAnnMoon.com.
I felt a strong desire for a complete brand refresh to reflect recent changes in my life. To better serve. To better connect. And to better reflect my personal evolution, identity and mission. And I would love to share more on that process with you in this post.
I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome you to my new website. I hope you will take some time to explore and share your favorite parts with me!
Time For A Change
As human beings, we are constantly growing and evolving. On our own personal perpetual journeys through different chapters of our lives. A lot of these changes that happen are out of our control. But how do you know when it’s time to actively make a change? To start something new? I really struggled with this through my twenties.
“If you have arrived at that place in your life, where you recognize that the path you are on is not viable, the dreams you have were built for a person you used to be, and that you’re being held in a place not by a desire to blossom but out of a fear to unearth your roots, may this be the year you have enough courage to allow your dreams to change.” – Brené Brown
I’ve lived in the same small beach town for all 31 years of my life. Scared to leave; scared to try somewhere new. I’ve travelled all over the world, but I always need my safe place to come back home. And that was a metaphor for everything else in my life, too. Including my career.
When I entered my thirties, I felt a deep desire for a change with my career… a BIG change.
I finally admitted to myself that what society considers a “normal” career just wasn’t for me. I needed to live a life that ignited my passion for creativity. And I wanted to be my own boss.
So I quit my career of over 10 years.
The Start Of A New Chapter
Today marks exactly six months since I quit my job to become a full-time creator. I quit a career I’d been working for over ten years, to pursue a new career I’d been working for less than two years.
Terrifying? You bet. But exceptional things never come from comfort zones.
There’s still a long road ahead, and I’m far from where I want to be. My goals are to build a successful company, hire a team, and have this work provide financial comfort for my daughter and our family.
But for now, I’m finally confident that I’m on the right path. An amplified, exhilarating path.
Your fear will always be triggered by your creativity, because creativity asks you to enter into realms of uncertain outcome, and fear hates uncertain outcome.

New Brand. New Image. New Identity.

Why the Brand Refresh?
I wanted to do this complete redesign of my website to better reflect the new “me” and my new life as a freelance creator. And to better serve and connect with you.
I wanted my current brand to have a clear strategy and identity: to ignite your passion for creativity, to inspire you to live intentionally, and to help live more sustainably.
That’s why I did this complete brand refresh. New color palette, logo design, and web design. Maybe the only thing that didn’t change… the name!
The website redesign process is really fun, but wow is it complex and time consuming! The world of digital marketing, SEO, and brand strategy was shockingly unknown to me, entirely undeterred by my business degree. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But I had a total blast navigating it all. And it feels incredible to have an entirely new image and brand identity. So it was worth every single minute.
So, What’s New on the Website?
I’m so glad you asked! Aside from the fun brand refresh, I’ve added a bunch of new content and features to the current website.
My intentions were to redesign it with clarity and simplicity. A platform that would be easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.
One major project I tackled was reorganizing my content into three categories for you to explore: Sustainability, Content Creation, and Lifestyle. Each has its own homepage where you can browse my posts & content in that category.
Guides to living a more eco-conscious lifestyle. I hope this space will help inspire you to become more mindful and aware of how damaging our actions are to our planet.
Nothing brings life out of me more than my creative flow state. I’m excited to share guides & tutorials to help you take your photos & videos to the next level!
I’m on a perpetual journey of self-improvement, in all areas of life and this space is where I’ll share inspirations on topics like motherhood, travel, health, beauty & more.
To celebrate the relaunch, there are six brand new blog posts for you to read! (including this one) And all of my old blog posts have been transferred over too, of course!
My Work With Me page got a total refresh. So brands and potential clients can easily view my portfolio, browse my available services, social media platforms, see more about my target audience and download my media kit.
You can view my brand new Shop to shop my Lightroom presets! And I have some exciting plans to add more to this shop in the near future as my business continues to grow.
Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.

The Moral Of The Story
Do whatever it is that brings you to life. Trust your intuition. And embrace the uncertainty. Life is to short to be anything but happy.
Just a few things to think about if you’re contemplating your current career and the future of it.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking alongside me on this journey. Thank you for taking time out of your day to visit my little place on the internet and read my story. People like you are what make this all worthwhile. Please continue to share your light with me and challenge me to be a better human.
